The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , RBAC , Conditional Access , and identity lifecycle automation , along with a strong security mindset. This is a short-term, high-impact engagement with a 2-week paid assessment phase where you’ll collaborate directly with senior cloud engineers on real IAM automation tasks and policy optimization projects. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Azure AD / Entra ID access models, including Conditional Access, PIM, and RBAC structures. Support identity lifecycle automation for AVD, Azure resources, and hybrid users. Build and maintain least-privilege access controls and service principal governance. Review and optimize existing IAM policies, permissions, and directory structures. Develop PowerShell or Graph API–based scripts for access provisioning and auditing. Collaborate with cloud and security teams to implement compliance controls. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Azure IAM or Cloud Security Engineering. Proven experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID , RBAC, Conditional Access, and PIM. Strong PowerShell or Graph API scripting experience. Deep understanding of Azure resource access models, managed identities, and app registrations. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, or ISO27001). Preferred Skills Experience integrating IAM with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Intune. Knowledge of automation pipelines using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or Terraform. Exposure to multi-tenant identity management setups and delegated admin models. Assessment Process 2-week paid assessment (₹700/hr). Practical evaluation on live IAM automation and policy improvement tasks. Focus areas: Technical skill depth in Azure IAM. Security and access design reasoning. Collaboration and documentation quality.
