Tech/BE in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA preferredSalary: 40 LPA + 30% VARIABLEAbout the JobOur Client is seeking a Tech Solution Architect – Senior Manager to join our Strategy & Consulting Global Network (S&C GN) team. In this strategic leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in driving digital transformation for industrial clients by designing and implementing scalable technology architectures.This role focuses on creating cloud-native and hybrid solutions, integrating industrial Io T (IIo T), edge computing, and automation technologies to enable smart factories, connected operations, and data-driven supply chains.You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and IT/OT teams to define enterprise-wide technology strategies and deliver innovative digital platforms that support long-term transformation goals.Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must have:14+ years of professional experience in the technology and digital consulting industry5+ years of experience specifically in enterprise architecture roles, designing end-to-end solutionsProven experience architecting and delivering solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)Deep understanding of Industrial Io T, smart manufacturing platforms, and connected systemsExperience in leading feasibility studies, platform assessments, and vendor evaluations for digital initiatives.Core CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will bring technical and strategic expertise in the following areas: Cloud Architecture & PlatformsStrong expertise in designing, building, and managing solutions on Azure and AWS (GCP a bonus)Ability to develop cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures that meet security, performance, and scalability requirementsMicroservices & ContainerizationIn-depth knowledge of microservices-based architecture for modular and scalable applicationsProficiency in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for managing workloadsIndustrial Io T & Edge ComputingExperience with Industrial Io T platforms, sensors, data ingestion, and real-time processingFamiliarity with Edge computing to handle low-latency and decentralized processing for factory floor use casesAPI Management & IntegrationDesign and implement secure APIs, manage lifecycle, and integrate with various enterprise systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, etc.)Utilize API gateways, data buses, and integration patterns to ensure robust connectivityEnterprise Architecture FrameworksKnowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar for standardizing architecture practicesAbility to align business goals with IT strategy, identify capability gaps, and propose digital roadmapsDev Ops & Agile DeliveryFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practicesComfortable working in agile environments, using tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, etcEducation and KnowledgeA Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is mandatoryAn MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from Tier 1 and 2 institutes is preferred, especially for candidates looking to grow into enterprise-wide strategic rolesIndustry knowledge in manufacturing, energy, automotive, or supply chain transformation is a significant plusStrong understanding of digital twin technologies, cyber-physical systems, and data platformsGood to Have SkillsThese additional skills will give candidates an edge:Edge Computing Platforms: Experience with solutions such as Azure Io T Edge, AWS Greengrass, or equivalentReal-Time Analytics & AI Integration: Exposure to AI/ML applications for predictive maintenance, quality control, etc.Cybersecurity for OT/IIo T: Understanding of securing industrial environments (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST frameworks)Familiarity with legacy industrial systems like SCADA, PLCs, and MESCertifications in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) or architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
