(Job Summary)As a Game Designer at Snack Play, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the gameplay experience for our next hit title. You will be responsible for designing core game mechanics, game systems, and player progression. Working closely with developers, artists, and other team members, you will ensure that our games are engaging, balanced, and fun for our players.

(Key Responsibilities)Game Conceptualization & Design : Develop innovative game ideas, mechanics, and features that align with the company’s vision.Gameplay Systems : Design and iterate on game systems, including core loops, player progression, and reward mechanics.Prototyping : Collaborate with developers to prototype new gameplay ideas and mechanics, refining them based on feedback and testing.Player Experience : Design levels, user interfaces, and game flows that create a seamless and enjoyable player experience.Monetization Strategy : Work with the monetization team to integrate in-game purchases, ads, and reward systems that are non-intrusive yet effective.Data-Driven Design : Use player data and feedback to continuously refine and balance the game’s design, ensuring high engagement and retention.Collaboration : Work closely with developers, artists, and producers to ensure the successful implementation of design ideas.Market Research : Stay informed about mobile gaming trends, player preferences, and competitor products, identifying opportunities for innovation.Documentation : Create and maintain detailed game design documentation, including mechanics, flows, wireframes, and level designs.

(Required Qualifications)Experience : 3+ years of experience as a Game Designer, preferably in mobile games.Game Design Skills : Strong understanding of game design fundamentals, including mechanics, pacing, difficulty curves, and user experience.Mobile Focus : Proven experience designing mobile games, with a portfolio showcasing successful titles.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey design ideas clearly across departments.Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with developers, artists, and producers.Creativity : A passion for creating innovative and engaging gameplay experiences.Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with Unity and basic knowledge of programming/scripting is a plus.Analytics : Understanding of player metrics, user behavior, and A/B testing to refine game experiences.
