Job Description :

An experienced senior data pipeline engineer, able to assist in the on-going development and evolution of the existing Client Platform ETL pipeline.

Essential Skills :

- 6+ years with extensive experience in Python relational SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL)

- Strong experience in developing and maintaining large ETL projects (including performance optimization).

- Ideally with experience in another suitable language such as JavaScript, Java, .NET etc.

- Strong experience working in any Cloud environment e.g GCP, Azure, AWS.

- Strong experience working within linux/unix based systems & bash scripts.

- Gravitate towards quality, writing well tested code i.e TDD / BDD.

- Solid knowledge of containers e.g Docker, Kubernetes & Helm.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including monitoring and observability.

- Experience working in an AGILE environment i.e Scrum, Kanban.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Good problem-solving skills.

- Organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Process the data into clean, unified, incremental stores by building scalable data engineering pipelines with an emphasis on high-volume data management within the enterprise for cloud-scale data products and platforms that operate under strict SLAs.

- Establish scalable & sustainable Data Engineering strategies in terms of extraction, ingestion, transformation, automation, and consumption focused on serverless, microservices, and API-based data architectures on Azure cloud.

- Brings in solid technical knowledge & expertise that encompasses a wide array of algorithms and data structures.

- Drive best practices for an effective source/version control to support team-based development of data products.

- Build and implement continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for the seamless release of data-driven applications
