Role Overview :

As an Associate Consultant in our Risk Advisory practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to help clients navigate and manage complex risk landscapes. This position is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in an environment that requires a blend of risk management expertise, effective communication, and robust relationship-building skills. You'll have the chance to work on diverse projects, gain exposure to different industries, and develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of risk management in a fast-paced and ever-evolving landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of SOX advisory, control testing, internal audit review, enterprise risk assessment, and operational process review projects.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives. Utilize this knowledge to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of SOX, audit, and other projects.
  • Work collaboratively with client and Bough audit teams to identify client issues during the audit process.
  • Perform work assigned in a professional and timely manner.
  • Create reports and dashboards for key stakeholders and inform client and Bough engagement leaders of project status.
  • Collaboratively work with clients to build strong, professional relationships. Establish trust and rapport to facilitate effective communication and engagement.
  • Play an active role in internal organizational initiatives.
  • Work closely with team members, sharing knowledge and insights.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must.
  • 1-3 years of audit experience in a professional services firm.
  • Certified Accountant (Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or demonstrated progress towards achieving one of the aforementioned certifications.
  • Experience with a Big 4, national or large regional accounting firm preferred.
