Principal Engineer

We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer – Mechanical Services to provide specialist advice and services to acute engineering problems relating to our metropolitan assets, including but not limited to our treatment plants and bulk water transmissions. To the fundamentals of the role: ·        Serves as first point of reference, providing technical support for incidents, developing solutions to remediate and optimise the performance of assets. ·        Ensure that asset condition and risks are understood and appropriately addressed. ·        Providing asset condition assessments, identifying risks, incident support and preparing mitigation strategies ·        Monitoring the performance of assets systems to ensure that system capability is maintained. ·        Supporting project managers undertaking both capital and operating projects and addressing operation and maintenance related issues with advice in a timely manner ·        Reviewing designs, documents, and drawings to check and verify compliance. ·        Contributing to management and optimisation of assets strategies and initiatives Sound exciting?
