Senior Data Scientist / AI Specialist

Work Location: Bangalore, India

Role/Position

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for translating business needs into valuable and actionable ML/AI models. The person will work with structured and unstructured data to help uncover sales opportunities, identify brand-building opportunities. The Senior Data Scientist will work with our data science team in India to help deploy the models using the latest GenAI tools and frameworks.

We have access to a plethora of structured and unstructured data that is proprietary and from third-party sources. It is expected that the Senior Data Scientist will leverage existing data sources where appropriate and seek new data sources to address the new hypothesis.

Specifically:

Work with colleagues to understand business challenges and translate those challenges into solvable mathematical problems.  Build, code, and analyze our data models to solve specific business challenges. Work across brand data, customer satisfaction data, third-party data sources, financial data, CRM data, social data, and other data sources to architect ML/AI models Work with Databricks, Apache Spark, and other similar toolsets to operationalize the models. Work with cutting GenAI tools and models to solve Juniper business problems. Create high-quality output that is easy for the business to understand and use. 


Collaboration across the organization is critical to ensure that data leads to high-quality insights and actionable intelligence for the Marketing and Sales organizations.

Qualifications :

Overall 8-10 years of experience 4+ years relevant experience in a data science role Experience with SQL and distributed SQL platforms like Snowflake, Delta tables Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Scala Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, AWS ecosystem. Experience with building predictive models is essential. Knowledge on MLOps frameworks like MLFlow is advantageous.  Experience in experimenting with the latest GenAI and LLM models including OpenAI, Llama, DBRX and other open-source models is advantageous. Experience with RAG, PEFT, Chat Agents and content personalization techniques is beneficial to have. Must be able to build, train and deploy ML and Deep learning solutions Must be able to create visually appealing and compelling output
