No unsolicited agency referrals please.Job Title: Network – Openshift AdministratorPosition: Systems Engineer/Senior Systems EngineerExperience: 4+ yrsCategory: IT InfrastructureMain location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/MumbaiPosition ID: J-Employment Type: Full TimeQualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.Job Description:- System administration on OpenShift RedHat- Installation, upgradation, configuration setup of Red Hat Openshift- Troubleshoot issues with worker nodes, maintenance, and scale-out tasks.- Performing Maintenance activities on cluster line performing patching, configuration changes, installing operators etc.- Worked on Microsoft ADO (Azure DevOps), Jenkins or equivalent- LDAP sync configuration, adding and removing users and assigning roles to groups of users.- Create, Modify & delete projects. Assign project specific roles to users' groups.- Assist application team on resolving issues with pods like crash loopback, image pull back and other errors- Assist in implementing best practices to configure readiness and liveness probes.- Create, Modify and delete network policy rules based on customer requirement.- Service accounts management, role creation and assigning roles.- Assign, modify and remove roles (cluster and project) to users and groups.- Monitor registry storage and perform regular cleanup. Assist application team in pushing required images to OpenShift cluster.- Create, Modify SCC based on custom requirement and assign to specific projects.- Configure, modify project quotas and limit ranges. Assist application team on issues with quotas and limits.- Perform certificate management when the existing certificates expired and when needed.- Check cluster utilization and share reports to business when needed. Forecast capacity growth requirement and handle capacity increase.- Perform Daily health check of cluster and fix issues based on observations.- Implement and customize Grafana dashboards if required to effectively monitor the cluster- Backup of critical configuration and DB when needed or before any maintenance activities.- Planning and platform patching and upgrade with Zero downtime.- Customize master and node configurations post deployment of OpenShift to meet requirements.- Implement ADLDAP sync for each environment and also implement automated sync of the groups.- Post OpenShift deployment, configure OpenShift platform to use custom SSL certificates provided by customer for console and application URL.- Monitoring performance of the System- Should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues- Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required- Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders- Perform RCA for Major Incidents- Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams individual to minimize the incidents- Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis- Effort estimation reviews on need basis for new projects.- Expertise on implementation and management of NGINIX, REDIS, Graylog, MongoDB, EFK, Consul will be added advantageRequired (Must have) Expertise:Are you having Red Hat Openshift Administration Working experienceAre you RHCSA RHCE CertificationMandatory Skills :OpenShift Administration with an expert in LinuxBehavioral Competencies :• Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements• Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)• Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams• Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services• Ability to plan, prioritise and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player• Willingness to engage with and work in other technologiesNote: This job description is a general outline of the responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with the Virtualization Specialist role.
