Senior Magento Developer.

Location : Remote.

Type : Full-time Freelancing / independent Contract.

Experience : 3 to 8+ yrs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Custom Development : Design, develop, and customize Magento modules and themes to meet specific client requirements.

- System Integration : Implement and configure third-party extensions, APIs, and integrations to enhance site functionality and performance.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize Magento sites for speed, performance, and scalability, including tuning server configurations and optimizing code.

- Troubleshooting and Support : Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Magento websites and integrations.

- Code Management : Maintain clean, well-documented code; follow best practices for version control and deployment processes.

- Collaboration : Work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and within scope.

- Client Interaction : Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and deliver effective solutions.

- Staying Current : Keep up-to-date with Magento's latest features, updates, and industry best practices to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements :

Experience : 3 to 8+ years of professional experience in Magento development, with a robust portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Magento 2.x, including custom module development and theme customization.

- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Experience with Magento's APIs, REST, and SOAP integrations.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Magento Commerce Cloud and enterprise-level implementations.

- Knowledge of additional e-commerce platforms or CMS (i.e., Shopify, WooCommerce).

- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
