We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Wintel Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in VMware, Wintel, Azure Iaa S, Active Directory, and automation (Ansible, Power Shell, Python, Bash). The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Windows and virtualization infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments. Basic knowledge of Pure Storage is preferred.Key Responsibilities- Architect, deploy, and manage Wintel-based infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.- Design, configure, and maintain VMware v Sphere, ESXi, v Center, and virtualized workloads.- Manage Azure Iaa S including VM provisioning, networking, backup, and monitoring.- Administer and optimize Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, Entra ID, and authentication mechanisms.- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system administration using Ansible, Power Shell, Python, and Bash scripting.- Troubleshoot complex Windows Server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure issues ensuring high availability and performance.- Implement server hardening, patching, and security policies to maintain compliance.- Perform storage provisioning and integration with Pure Storage (basic knowledge required).- Collaborate with networking, security, and Dev Ops teams for seamless infrastructure integration.- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in infrastructure management.Qualifications & Experience- 12+ years of experience in Wintel engineering, VMware, and cloud infrastructure.- Extensive experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and GPO management.- Strong expertise in VMware (v Sphere, ESXi, v Center) and virtualization technologies.- Hands-on experience with Azure Iaa S, cloud automation, and migration strategies.- Proficiency in Ansible, Power Shell, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and configuration management.- Basic understanding of Pure Storage and storage provisioning.- Strong knowledge of security best practices, system hardening, and compliance standards.- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management.- Preferred certifications: VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, or equivalent.Preferred Skills- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises and Azure solutions.- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) principles.- Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancers).- Knowledge of the ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change management.
