We are seeking a highly talented and creative Interior Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for translating client requirements and design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Working with our expansive range of furniture, your knowledge of materials, product design and furniture design will be an asset in this role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget constraints.
Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and visual presentations to clients for approval.
Create detailed interior design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Select appropriate materials, colors and finishes of furniture to enhance the overall design concept.
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, product designers, sales staff and other professionals to ensure design concepts are successfully implemented.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress, provide guidance, and resolve any design-related issues that may arise during construction or installation.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry developments to provide innovative design solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients and the team to ensure successful project delivery and potential future collaborations.
Requirements:
3-5 Years experience individually handling client projects
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.
Strong knowledge of furniture, space planning, colour theory, materials, and finishes.
Excellent creativity, artistic vision, and attention to detail.
Effective communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Experience working collaboratively with clients, architects, product designers and other professionals. ●
Knowledge of industry standards.
