We are currently expandingour development team with a skilled teamoriented and motivatedFrontend & WordPress Developer willing to shape the products oftomorrow as well as to keep growing his skills andexpertise.

  • Developmentexperiences: You will transition projects fromdesign to fully working WordPress solutions based on yourcustommade WordPress themeSite Editor and customtailoredBlocks.
  • CSSpreprocessors: You will build scalable responsive CSSsystems with the help of SCSS/SASS preprocessors in order tomaintain consistency and visual potency across alldevices.
  • JavaScript: Tofulfill this role you will need solid knowledge and workingexperience with JavaScript (ESNext and JSX) to create customGutenbergblocks.
  • PHP: Youwill need solid PHP knowledge to set up a core custom theme anddeal with Custom Post Types Advanced Custom Fields and WordPresslegacy file structure.
  • Internalprocesses: You will help us improve our internalworkflows handbooks templates and processes. Were a young and agilecompany and try to maintain a flat hierarchy. We empower you tobring your ideas to the table improve our processes and takeinitiative for building the kind of agency you want to workfor.
  • Grow with us: As part of our strong company culture you will engage with yourteam members on a daily basis work closely with various departments(discovery branding design) and have development meetings and 1on1swith Giannis in order to grow your skills and understanding of howa wellstructured code can have a powerful impact on the businesseswe work with.
  • Help usgrow: You will have the opportunity to share yourwork knowledge and impact the other team members across thecompany. Also you will be able to attend our weekly coordinationmeeting with all companymembers.

Preferredexperience

You are an openmindedperson who is focused determined good listener and you arent afraidto make mistakes. You have an understanding of a standard agencyworkflow. Preferably you have at least4 years of experienceas acustom WordPress theme developer and have worked in an agency techcompany or as a freelancer on commercial WordPresssolutions.

  • WordPress: Youhave advanced handson experience using and customizing corecomponents of the latest WordPresscontent editor you feel verycomfortable setting up and creating custom WordPress theme fromscratch setting up Custom Post types and Taxonomies**** managingthe way they appear inside the project and utilizing Custom Posttypes or Advanced Custom Fields plugin to act as a data resourcefor Custom createdblocks. You are familiar with and ready toembrace all the features that Full site editing is bringing toWordPress.
  • Strong CSSskill: You are very capable when it comes to buildingreusable classes and responsive CSS code that works both on desktopand mobile with or without the use of thirdparty CSS frameworks(eg. Bootstrap). Also you are familiar with BEM naming conventionsand know how to maintain highperformance Page speed numbers in aWordPress environment. You also have experience in implementingFluid Typography whennecessary.
  • JavaScript: Youhave a solid knowledge of JavaScript (ESNext and JSX) and feelconfident in using it to create Gutenberg Blocks based on WordPressBlock API for an accompanying custom theme. You are acquainted withWordPress Interactivity API Block Bindings API Script Modules APIand Block hooks.
  • Animationskills: You have expertise in creating engaging webanimations particularly with GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform)enhancing user experience and interface dynamism across webprojects.
  • Systemic andorganized: You are well organized and understand theimportance of a clean codebase and folder/file structure. We buildsolutions that can be scaled and used by the wholeteam.
  • Accountable: Youhave a strong sense of commitment accountability and ownership. Youare independent and will solve problems by taking matters into yourhands if needed. You are adoer.
  • Communication: You can easily communicate with your team membersand clients and are confident when it comes to elaborate your code.You will be part of client meetings to showcase your work andprogress on a weekly basis. At the end of the project you will leada workshop to hand over the completed solution and guide the clienton how to utilize the system youvedeveloped.
  • Languages: You are very fluent in English to engage with all internationalteam members and clients.
