We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Vendor Contracts Manager to join our Climate Ops team. This role is responsible for managing and tracking third-party engagements throughout the contracting lifecycle, from contract development to invoicing, ensuring compliance with legal and finance standards, and keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of navigating complex corporate processes and driving engagements forward in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Review and address all emails and messages at the start of the day to identify updates and action items for 1–5 third-party engagements. Document the progress of each engagement, including next steps, responsible parties, and follow-up timelines. Provide insight and guidance to Climate Ops team members on appropriate next steps and facilitate their execution. Collaborate with internal teams, loop in the correct stakeholders, and chase down answers to contracting-related questions. Ensure that all contracts adhere to standard legal and finance terms. Act as the liaison between Google Legal and suppliers for contract-related matters. Utilize internal systems to: Assess risk and ensure compliance Request legal assistance Create purchase requests and orders Generate NDAs Track the status of purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices, and follow up to ensure timely processing and supplier
