Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Business Analyst with expertise in Hadoop technologies and a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring optimal use of data resources to drive banking operations and decision-making. As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Gather and document business requirements related to banking operations, including data processing, reporting, and analytics needs. Analyze and interpret large volumes of data using Hadoop and related technologies to uncover insights that support business objectives. Collaborate with data engineers and developers to translate business needs into technical specifications. Design data models and optimize existing data structures to improve data quality and accessibility. Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Educate stakeholders on Hadoop technology and its applications in banking. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) and its application in data analytics. Experience with data mining, data modeling, and data visualization tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain. Proficiency in Hadoop technologies and a solid understanding of the banking industry. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards. Strong project management skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
