Experience and Education :

  • Master's in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or relevant subjects
  • Min 10 years Exp with the RCM Analytics.
  • Min 5 years of Exp in Data Science (DS) / Machine Learning (ML) / Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Good communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Head Data Science / Data Analytics function for Revenue Cycle Management Businesses.
  • Identify opportunities to deploy DS / ML models to improve business outcomes.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast revenue, identify potential revenue leakage, and optimize reimbursement processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, operations leaders, CRMs, finance, technology and executive leadership, to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions.
  • Oversee / Improve cash forecasting models, data analysis, standardizing and redesign core business performance metrics
  • Identifying RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for FPY/ SPY (First/ Second Pass Yield), collection metrics, AR ageing and various Turn Around Time and other key business metrics.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the analytics team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics solutions into existing applications and systems.

Technical Skills :

  • Required Proficient in Python and / or R especially for data science and machine learning.
  • Proficient in SQL or and RDBMS
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques to fine-tune models
  • Strong capability in feature engineering and feature selection techniques
  • Extensive experience in applying machine learning algorithms and statistical methods on Revenue Cycle Management data sets
  • Good to have Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • RCM Knowledge: Understanding of end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management processes, like patient registration, charge entry, eligibility verification, coding, billing, cash applications and payment collections
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards & billing processes, including ICD, CPT, 835s, 837s and other relevant systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes in healthcare, including managing outstanding claims (90+ and 120+ AR), follow-up on unpaid invoices, and reducing days in AR.
  • Familiarity with defining and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs in the context of RCM operations.
  • Exposure to various Business Intelligence solutions for RCM processes
  • Deep knowledge of US Healthcare metrics, delivering high impact reports to stakeholders, building statistical models to solve real business problems
