About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled Engineering Lead with 8+ years of experience to own and scale our healthcare platform across India, the Middle East, Latin America, and the US. You will architect scalable systems, lead a distributed engineering team, and remain hands-on with key technical decisions and code.This is not a framework-focused role — it requires deep Python fundamentals, strong API and data architecture skills, and an understanding of healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR). You’ll also guide Angular-based frontend architecture, ensuring performance, security, and compliance across multiple regions.If you thrive in complex, regulated environments and love building mission-critical systems, this role offers both impact and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipOwn end-to-end platform architecture for EMR/HMS systems serving multiple geographies with 99.9%+ uptime.Design and develop Python-based APIs, data processing pipelines, and healthcare integrations (HL7/FHIR).Architect and optimize AI/ML inference pipelines for clinical intelligence systems.Review and guide Angular frontend architecture, component design, and performance optimization.Design and manage clinical data models, longitudinal patient records, and legacy EMR migration strategies.Oversee multi-region infrastructure, Dev Ops pipelines, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and ABDM regulations.Team & DeliveryManage and mentor backend, frontend, QA, and Dev Ops engineers across distributed teams.Translate product requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions.Establish an engineering culture centered on ownership, reliability, quality, and clinical safety.Lead technical due diligence and architecture planning for new market entries.Coordinate deployments across multiple time zones and regulatory environments.Hands-On ContributionWrite and review production code for critical backend and frontend components.Debug complex production issues in healthcare environments.Make architecture-level decisions and unblock teams when required.What We’re Looking ForRequired Experience8+ years in software development with deep Python expertise (API design, systems architecture, not just frameworks).Hands-on Angular + Type Script experience for frontend architecture and team guidance.3+ years building healthcare IT systems (HL7/FHIR, EMR/HMS, or clinical data platforms).3+ years of technical leadership managing distributed engineering teams.Proven experience deploying AI/ML systems in regulated healthcare environments.Strong background in cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices, and databases (Postgres, Mongo DB, Redis).Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.Demonstrated ability to maintain 99.9%+ uptime for business-critical systems.Technical SkillsExpert-level Python for healthcare integrations, data processing, and automation.Production-level Angular experience (state management, component architecture, performance tuning).Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, compliance frameworks, and data security.Experience architecting for LATAM, Middle East, or other emerging-market infrastructure constraints.Leadership QualitiesStrong communicator — able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage teams across multiple time zones.Problem-solving mindset grounded in clinical safety and reliability.Balances technical debt, feature delivery, and platform stability with sound judgment.Job DetailsEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Technology / Healthcare / InternetLocation: Global (Remote / Hybrid)Experience Level: Senior / Lead Engineer
