General Manager Sales

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of General Manager Sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that encompasses both online (D2C, e-commerce platforms) and offline (retail, distributors) channels.
- Lead the export strategy by creating and implementing market entry strategies to expand our global presence while ensuring optimal logistics and supply chain support for international markets.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, ensuring targets are met for direct consumer sales and offline retail partnerships.
- Optimize the brand's presence across all channels through effective pricing, promotions, and product placement in close collaboration with channels.
- Buid strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms to increase the brand's reach.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Work closely with Manufacturing team, Logistics partner, and internal teams to enhance supply chain performance, minimize costs, and ensure timely product availability across all sales channels, including exports.
- Manage inventory levels across both online and offline channels, aligning supply with market demand to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage diverse teams, ensuring alignment with our overall company strategy.
- Ensure seamless customer experience domestically and internationally.
- Comply with local, national, and international trade laws, customs regulations, and supply chain standards.
- Sales Strategy & Management: Develop and execute sales strategies for online and offline channels.
- Export Management: Create market entry strategies and build relationships with international partners.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Procurement best practices and cost management techniques.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Draw insights from data and track KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Leadership and People Management: Lead and mentor diverse teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Anticipate challenges and opportunities in the market and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Analyze complex operational challenges and develop strategic solutions.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to achieve favorable terms and ensure smooth operations.
- 15+ years of experience with at least 6 years in a leadership role overseeing operations, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.
- Proven experience in building and executing sales strategies across online and offline channels.
- Sound understanding of international trade regulations, export processes, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to use data to make informed decisions and improve operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in managing vendor and partner relationships.
- Familiarity with international trade compliance, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field is preferred.
