Key Responsibilities:


AWS Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

EKS Expertise: Drive the management and optimization of Amazon EKS clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications.

Cost Optimization: Develop strategies for cost optimization across AWS services, utilizing tools and best practices to minimize operational expenses.

DevOps and Automation: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of applications and infrastructure using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

Security: Collaborate with the security team to establish and maintain robust security practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.

Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system performance and availability.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.

Best Practices: Stay updated with AWS best practices and emerging technologies, applying them to enhance the infrastructure.

Assigned as a customer advocate to ensure customer satisfaction in getting multi-cloud services, identify opportunities for new/expanding business that benefits the customer.

Implement and manage cloud services descriptions tailored to specific partner offerings and deliverables, including SLA, performance targets, capacity management reporting.

Demonstrate knowledge of various public and private cloud service descriptions(Azure Stack, HCI solutions)

Analyze new and maturing cloud service offerings for evaluation and proof of concept

Write technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

8-10 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Operation roles with a focus on AWS.

Proficiency in managing AWS services, including but not limited to:

Amazon EC2

AWS Lambda

Amazon RDS

AWS Elastic Beanstalk

Amazon S3

Amazon VPC

Strong expertise in Amazon EKS and Kubernetes orchestration.

Demonstrated experience in cost optimization strategies within AWS.

Scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar).

Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with other cloud services like Azure, Google a plus.

AWS certifications, Terraform, Certified Kubernetes Security (CKS) (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional/Specialty or DevOps Certified) are a plus.
