Land Surveyor

- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys to determine land elevations, boundaries, and features using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes, sketches, and survey data, to support project planning and decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings, documenting survey results and presenting findings to project stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to provide surveying support and ensure project objectives are met.
- Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks to facilitate accurate measurements and ensure consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, survey data, and quality standards.
- Conduct as-built surveys to document the location and dimensions of completed structures, utilities, and infrastructure for record-keeping and future reference.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on the construction site.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, advancements in surveying technology, and changes in regulations to continuously improve surveying processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in Dubai or the Middle East region.
- Proficiency in operating surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS equipment, and digital levels, as well as surveying software for data processing and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies, including topographic surveying, boundary surveying, and construction layout.
- Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to land surveying and construction activities in Dubai.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting surveys and recording data.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification or licensure as a Land Surveyor.
- Experience using advanced surveying techniques, such as 3D laser scanning and drone surveying.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its application in construction surveying.
