Job Description


As a WeKan Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end delivery across groups

of projects. In this role you will manage and work alongside teams of engineers to deliver high-quality software engineering engagements within the estimated timelines and budgets. The scope of your projects will range from overseeing Cloud migrations, Application modernization and development and end-to-end transformation programs for companies ranging from high-growth startups disrupting their space, to large established enterprises operating in legacy environments.


Roles & Responsibilities:


· Collaborate with customer and engineering teams to create engineering plans: resourcing, timelines, milestones, deliverables

· Identify and manage pre-requisites, dependencies, define and execute on critical path for project success

· Put in place status trackers, closely monitor advancements and ensure minimal deviation from target timelines and budgets

· Handle change management process, owning impact analysis and ensuring documentation is always up to date

· Identify areas of risk and put in place mitigation plans to ensure project stays in track

· Handle communication with customer including daily scrums, retrospectives, releases

· Manage customer expectations, escalations and ensure smooth delivery throughout product lifecycle

· Be a leader to engineering teams helping them navigate technical roadblocks, communication gaps


Required Skills:


· Should have strong capability to organize work, assign tasks and resources prioritizing impact and value

· Should have strong communication, understanding skills and be able to manage customer expectations throughout engagement lifecycle

· Has deep understanding of agile methodology and hands-on experience running its ceremonies across multiple projects

· Experience running delivery for Enterprise customers including cloud-based application development, data migration projects (from on-prem to cloud or cloud-to-cloud)

· Understands digital transformation and application modernization programs

· Understand project estimation and can challenge engineering teams on suggested timelines


Good to have:


· Previous experience as a software developer / testing engineer

· Understands cloud architecture, Dev-Ops and CI-CD process

· Certifications: PMP, Agile Certified Scrum Master, SAFE Agile
