Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an MicroStrategy Developer, based in Bengaluru for one of our esteemed overseas clients. The role involves understanding requirements, designing, developing and testing of architecture, reports and dashboards.

Experience Required:
5+ years experience in MicroStrategy is a MUST
.

Industry Preference:
Telecom (Telco) domain experience is MUST
.

Key Skills

  • SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries)
  • ETL integration and data modeling
  • Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Security filters and role-based access

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using MicroStrategy tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and optimize schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) for scalable reporting.
  • Ensure seamless integration with data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
  • Tune performance of reports and dashboards for responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement user roles, access controls, and security filters.
  • Document technical specifications, data flows, and best practices.
  • Support production environments and troubleshoot BI-related issues.
  • Stay current with MicroStrategy updates and best practices.

Qualifications

Generic Skills:

  • Immediate joiners needed. (Within max 15 days)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and experience in interaction with overseas clients is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused with a collaborative attitude.
