This position requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with focus on accuracy and timeliness. In addition to BAU reporting the Specialist is responsible for quality assurance of data, analysis and resolution of non-standard exceptions, queries and issues raised by clients and internal teams, and providing expert input regarding Trade & Transaction regulations. The role is for a Specialist in reporting, competent at analyzing and interpreting reporting requirements and prioritizing a demanding and diverse workload.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce daily reporting to agreed timescales for regulatory Trade & Transaction Reporting. Ensure that all regulatory reporting is performed to the highest quality and in line with the Regulatory Reporting Standards.Develop and maintain Subject Matter Expertise in the following areas of regulatory reporting as defined in the annual goal setting and review process (EMIR, MiFID Trade and Transaction Reporting, SFTR reporting.Independently resolve complex queries from internal and external stakeholders. Present findings effectively and provide solutions to any issues or risks identified.Ensure the process for end-to-end delivery of selected areas of regulatory reporting is robust and controlled. Maintain Operating Model documentation, process, procedure risk and control documentation and KPIs to support.Review policies and new business initiatives to determine impacts on ReportingStrictly adhere to policies & procedures while producing reports and due diligence in completing with highest standards and accuracy.Key proficienciesStrong Financial Industry Experience with focus on Regulatory ReportingConceptual and Strong understanding of financial instrumentsEffective team player and Excellent interpersonal skillsAttention to detail, Flexibility, adaptability, and strong coordination/collaborationBasic knowledge of MS Office Suite; proficiency in MS Excel is desiredStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to identify and develop key professional working relationshipsExcellent research and analytical skillsThe Experience You Bring6-7 years of prior experience in the financial services industry, specifically within regulatory reporting (EMIR/MIFID).For advanced roles: Senior Analyst: 4+ years of relevant experienceSpecialist: 6+ years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of financial industry fundamentals and various asset classesFamiliarity with mutual fund structures, investment life cycle, and key market participantsWorking knowledge of ESG principles and regulatory frameworks including SFTR, MiFID, and EMIRAbility to understand and navigate data flows and system architecture within investment platformsExperience with data integration, reporting tools, and operational workflowsAcademic requirementsMBA or any professional qualification (CFA, CMA) with Finance as the majorFull Time / Part TimeFull timeWorker TypeEmployeeJob Exempt (Yes / No)No Workplace ModelAt Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
