Main Purpose of Job

To facilitate TQM promotion through training, consultation and reviews to achieve

business objectives effectively & efficiently and penetrate TQM culture in all

Manufacturing plant and R&D in line with the TQM roadmap.


Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

• Develop a Roadmap of the TQM Journey for ATL Mfg. and R&D in line with overall plan.

• Develop systems & procedures to promote TQM vehicles – PM, DWM, CFM & QCC.

• Develop and conduct TQM training programs to improve business performance

• Review & guide selected QC story projects periodically and present the status quo

• Review & facilitate in finalizing the DTQMP chapters related to General &

Departmental DTQMPs.

• Review the documents prepared for the Deming Prize such as the application form, pre-application consultation, preparation meeting material etc., in line with DP

requirements.

• Review MIS for TQM initiatives PD, DWM, QCC, KEP, HIPs etc., on a periodic basis to

demonstrate the progress of activities.

• Prepare & submit the plans for Internal and external consultation in line with TQM

roadmap to promote TQM activities.

• Coordinating with Consultants for their visits, agendas, tasks assigned and other

works & Informing the Top Management about the output from the consultant's visit.

• Facilitating and supporting for execution of the TQM activities and Task as assigned

to the ATQM Coordinators

• Guiding Team in promoting TQM culture through various promotion events


Authorities :-

• Standardise TQM practices across mfg. functions.

• Release standards related to TQM elements

• To escalate the adherence compliance related to TQM practices across the plants and

R&D.

• Adherence to TQM roadmap timeline

• On-time preparation of Deming Documents as per application requirements

• DWM assessment score

• KEP & HIPs project review plan adherence

• No. of trainings & Training Manhours

Qualifications

• B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college/university

• TQM trained

• Minimum 15 years of experience having worked in TQM organization/ Deming awarded
