- Safety : Complete all necessary Safety trainings (IF+, HSE Golden Rules, etc.) in a timely manner. Abide by local, international, and Company safety standards and engage (stop work) in unsafe activities and create positive/negative observation cards.
- Quality : Have a clear understanding on Company Structural Standards and Project Specifications. Cooperate with QAQC Team that all structural works are to be carried out in compliance with associated requirements and specifications.
- Drawings/Procedures : Review all structural drawings (AFC, Shop drawings, as built, etc) and structural execution procedures. Make sure all shop drawings and procedures properly ready for 1 st steel cut. Lead CTR to prepare as-built drawings and submit them to CPY in a timely manner.
- Materials : Monitor delivery of structural materials to WORKSITE and participate in Inspection on Receipt. Review CTR’s daily records showing material status. Ensure CTR all materials to be stored in accordance with good practices and in separate locations, apart from those of other projects and to segregate surplus and scrap materials.
- Structural Organization : Prepare Job description of structural supervisor and participate in the interview process. Demonstrate exemplary behaviour to the structural team.
- Fabrication : Monitor CTR to furnish qualified personnel and all equipment, tools, instruments in a timely manner. Lead CPY Structural supervisors to closely monitor and supervisor all structural activities carried out in accordance with approval procedures, drawings, specifications, etc. Gather daily CTR structure manpower and report it to Construction Head. Cooperate with CTR and CPY Engineers to find out most efficient solutions for structural issues and report it to Construction Head/Package Head/Package Manager in a timely fashion. For further completed issues related to structural works, assist Construction Head in dealing with them.
- Pre-Commissioning : Lead building pre-commissioning activities and punch list to be closed out based on the baseline schedule.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in structural fabrication field of oil & gas industry
- BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge of international codes/standards (AISC, API, ASME, AWS, ISO)
- Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for MS Tools and e-mail communications.
