Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The intern will work closely with the development and QA teams to test and ensure the quality of software applications. This role offers hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, using tools such as Selenium, Pytest, and JMeter, with Python as the primary scripting language.

Responsibilities:

- 2-5 years of relevant professional work experience in software quality testing- Assist in executing manual and automated test cases, reporting defects, and performing regression testing- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand feature requirements and design test strategies- Write and execute test scripts using Selenium and Pytest with Python- Contribute to load and performance testing using JMeter- Participate in test automation, including writing and maintaining test scripts- Learn and apply best practices in QA methodologies, tools, and processes- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to stay aligned with project goals

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of software development and QA processes- Familiarity with web and mobile applications- Knowledge of Python for scripting is required- Experience or familiarity with Selenium, Pytest, and JMeter is a plus- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Resume filename should end with _bv to indicate you've read this description- A passion for learning and improving software quality
