The ideal candidate should have a solid background in database administration, performance tuning, high availability, and data replication.Key Responsibilities:- Manage, administer, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication.- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies.- Support database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.Required Skills & Experience:- 6–10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA (or update as needed).- Hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate (installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting).- Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and performance tuning.- Experience with RMAN backup and restore strategies.- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) is a plus.- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python) is an advantage.
