Job Opportunity – M&E Engineer (Pre-stress Calculation)

Location: Attur, Salem DT, Tamilnadu.

Plus Max Group of Companies is seeking a qualified M&E Engineer with expertise in Pre-Stress Calculation to support our upcoming Medical College Construction Project. This role requires strong technical knowledge in both Mechanical & Electrical Systems and the ability to integrate pre-stressed structural designs into project execution.

Position Available:

• 1 M&E Engineer (Pre-stress Calculation)

Key Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Perform Pre-Stress Calculations for structural components in coordination with the civil and structural teams.
• Review, verify, and optimize designs for pre-stressed elements ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety codes.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and calculation sheets for consultant/authority submission.
• Collaborate with draftsmen and engineers to integrate pre-stressed elements into shop drawings.
• Provide Technical Support During Fabrication and Installation of pre-stressed components.
• Ensure M&E systems are aligned with structural requirements and properly coordinated across disciplines.
• Conduct design checks and propose modifications to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E design with exposure to Pre-Stressed Concrete Projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, or equivalent) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
