RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage an offshore application security team that is responsible for DAST, SAST, Automation and Driving remediation of findingsEnsure all deliverables are on timeWork with the on-site team to align on day-to-day requirements and team objectivesEnsure all associates in the team keep up with latest techniques and trends regularlyAnalyze historic data to come up with new processes to gain quality and efficienciesPerformance reviewsRecruiting and on-boardingDevelop penetration testing methods for new application types as neededSupport development teams in understanding the vulnerabilities, by providing required informationProvide both process and technical support to the application security team and the development teamsDevelop and generate metrics for reporting to the managementPerform other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILL, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Information Technologyto 15 years of experience in Application SecurityAt least 3 to 5 years of experience in managing an application security teamShould have expertise in both DAST and SAST techniques of Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), and REST/SOAP APIsPreferred experience in assessing security of Thick-client and Embedded applicationsPreferred experience in AGILE methodologies.Expertise in Python/Ruby scriptingHands on development knowledge in any of the development platforms like Java or .Net will be an added advantageExceptional problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to be a good team player as part of remote teamsSelf-motivated with positive attitudeShould be able to work independently
