Linux System Engineer (Core Skillsets)

● Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux, SUSE): install, configure, patch, harden, and

tune systems.

● Shell scripting (Bash, sh, ksh): automate tasks and build health check/monitoring scripts.

● Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VLANs, and troubleshooting using tools

like netstat, traceroute, tcpdump.

● Storage management: LVM, RAID, NFS, SAN, iSCSI, and disk management.

● User and permission management: users, groups, sudoers, PAM, and file permissions.

● System monitoring and troubleshooting: using top, htop, iostat, vmstat, journalctl, and log

analysis.

● Security best practices: SELinux, firewalld/iptables, SSH hardening, vulnerability remediation.

● Virtualization and containers: familiarity with KVM, VMware, Docker basics.

● Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.

● Clear documentation skills for processes and configurations.

● Good time management to handle patching, KTLO, and project work.

● Ability to collaborate across multiple technical teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,800,000.00 per month
