Job Summary:
The Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and coordinating activities across business units and functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of reports to FP&A and Court Reporting leadership. This position involves close collaboration with the FP&A team and stakeholders across international locations to collect and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Job Responsibilities:
Weekly Reporting:
Collect and analyze weekly billing statistics, including breakdown between contracts and transactional data. Collaborate with the business team to obtain necessary data for FP&A reporting. Prepare and deliver KPI and penalty reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Reconcile weekly contractor pay versus quantity and provide insights for decision-making. Generate and maintain casual hours reports, comparing actuals to budget and rolling forecasts. Compile weekly termination reports and reconcile vendor invoices against prior months.Monthly Reporting:
Generate employee utilization reports on a weekly and monthly basis to optimize resource allocation. Monitor employee leave and provide regular reporting to support HR and management decision-making. Provide detailed labor split by employee and cost center to finance each month. Conduct contractor cost analysis against budget/forecast, identifying trends and variances. Maintain casual workers' files in collaboration with the FP&A team. Assist FP&A and business teams with ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.Required Skills:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
4+ years of financial and/or accounting experience, including data reporting expertise. Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products. Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts, with a focus on accuracy and integrity. Familiarity with database and reporting technologies, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines independently and within a team environment. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
