Support senior security personnel in monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats or vulnerabilities.Provide support in responding to security incidents by assisting in investigations and implementing prescribed measures under supervision.Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures for network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Perform networking and vulnerability scanning assessments.Install and support security software and tools like anti-virus tools, firewalls, systems and patch management.Establish and analyze security requirements for existing networks in your organization.Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness of security best practices and protocols.Contribute to promoting a culture of security consciousness within the organization.Collaborate with the security team and other relevant departments to gain exposure to various aspects of network security.Continuously learn and develop skills through mentorship and self-directed learning initiatives. You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Ideal Profile·

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (fresh graduates or individuals pursuing relevant certifications).·

Basic understanding or exposure to networking concepts and security principles through academic coursework, internships, or self-study.·

Eagerness to learn, strong analytical skills, and a passion for developing a career in cybersecurity.·

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.·

Relevant certifications or coursework in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) would be advantageous but
