- Using Backup archive client to do backup/archive and complete any client restores.
- Handling day-to-day IBM SP activities like IBM SP Client scheduling, IBM SP admin schedules, monitoring of database, log, storage pools and offsite volumes, Identify and troubleshoot any IBM SP server, IBM SP Client backup, restore, scheduler and performance related issues.
- Design, Implement IBM SP Disaster Recovery feature and work with DRM plan files, IBM SP database restore, Storage pool restore etc and completing client data restores at DR Site.
- Writing IBM SP SQL queries, IBM SP admin scripts and IBM SP macros.
- Manage IBM SP licensing.
- Work with Vendor to open service tickets to troubleshoot any issues with hardware and IBM SP software.
- Document the standards and procedures for installing and configuring IBM SP servers, IBM SP Clients and DRM process as required.
