Senior Analyst

Position Title: Senior Analyst - Finance

Overview: This role will be responsible for all aspects of financial and compliance management at BHIVE Group. The primary focus would be to analyse day-to-day financial activities, regulatory compliances and subsequently provide insights to top management on future financial plans and compliance changes. The role holder would be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams like sales, marketing, legal, HR and such other divisions overall organizational compliance.

Key deliverables

Ensure compliance with government regulations, including those covering FCRA and statutory annual audit. Responsible for preparing the organizational budget, considering both the organizational and programmatic requirements of BHIVE Group. Develop an MIS suitable for maintaining BHIVE Accounts, and for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Prepare monthly reports on cash flow, working capital, and financial tracking of ongoing projects. Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles. Build new and monitor/maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for closing, reconciling task items, and other general departmental financial tasks. Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same. Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization. Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) considering the company’s goals and financial standing. Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis. Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models. Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to senior financial analysts based on sound analysis. Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data. Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field. Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.

Skill Set Required:

Proficiency in MS Office Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills Highly enterprising with excellent negotiation skills Ability to prioritize work and perform under tight timelines Able to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently Attention to detail Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments

Minimum qualifications and Experience:

3 years of overall experience in a similar position and/or experience with financial analysis, business operations, project, and program management Sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework and corporate regulations applicable to the post Proven financial planning experience at the management level Knowledge of risk, controls, and compliance Experience working in the Real Estate Sector/Flex Space Business is preferred Long tenure in a single stint at a job is a plus Additional Requirements: Proven track record of complex data management. Proven connections and contacts with banking and other financial institutions. IPO experience is a big plus.
