Manager - Payroll and Finance Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and highly organised Manager of Accounts and Payroll to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks including invoice generation, accounts receivable, payroll processing, financial transactions, and financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of tasks assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Generation: Create and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner using Tally and Google Sheets. Ensure all invoices are properly documented and recorded.

2. Accounts Receivable: Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain updated records of accounts receivable.

3. Payroll Processing: Oversee the entire payroll process including preparation of salary slips, calculation of salaries, and disbursement of salaries to employees. Explore and implement payroll software solutions as needed.

4. Financial Transactions: Handle financial transactions including vendor payments, cash management, and accounts management using Tally and Google Sheets. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.

5. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. Create MIS and other stakeholder reports as required.

6. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including daily journals, ledger management, and reconciliation of accounts.

7. Compliance: Ensure timely compliances with relevant laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Some relevant qualification in Finance is preferred.

- Well-versed with Tally software, certification would be an advantage.

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in Google Sheets and MS Office suite.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.

- Proactive and enthusiastic about taking initiatives and learning new technologies.
