Job Title : Senior Power BI Developer

Job Summary

The Senior BI Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights through data analysis, reporting, and

visualization. This individual is responsible for designing data models, developing dashboards and reports using Power

BI, writing advanced SQL queries, and supporting database migration initiatives. The role requires cross-functional

collaboration to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency through data.

Major Responsibilities

 Design, build, and maintain scalable data models to support reporting and analytics across

departments.

 Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for various business

stakeholders.

 Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple

sources.

 Lead efforts in database migration projects, including schema conversion, data mapping, validation,

and performance optimization.

 Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure the quality, availability, and integrity of

data assets.

 Identify and analyze KPIs, trends, and data discrepancies to drive business improvements and

strategy.

 Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights.

 Provide training and support to users on Power BI dashboards and data tools.

 Develop and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and workflows.

 Ensure data governance standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements are followed.

Minimum Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering roles.

 Proven expertise in SQL for querying large datasets and performance tuning.

 Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

 Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schema.

 Experience with database migration projects, including data transformation and validation.

 Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation is advantageous.

 Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes.

 High standards of accuracy, precision, and documentation.
