SUMMARY
Patching Engineer III will be responsible for designing and implementing patching and orchestration of Hybrid Infrastructure across on-prem Data Centers and multi cloud fabric. This is an opportunity to showcase your passion new-age Infrastructure as Code (IaC), System Orchestration, Patching, DevOps in a fast moving and dynamic digital transformation environment. This position requires you to participate and lead hands on automation with Terraform, implementing IaC over multi cloud infrastructure fabrics for sites, servers and systems Patching.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide hands on technology expertise to technology leads Leads the development of requirements and manages engagement to automate onboarding Cloud services through a service catalogueSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Work collaboratively across the global teams of Infrastructure and Cloud Ops, DevOps and SRE engineers Automate Infrastructure as Code for Plan, Build, Run across Hybrid Infrastructure Deep experience in systems patching, associated orchestration, and automated validation testing Assists in implementation of solutions based on architectural best practices and stablished architectural frameworks, with guidance from a senior member of Hybrid Infrastructure organizationQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science and Computer engineering is preferred Current coding experience and expertise in Terraform, Python, Java 10+ years of Software Engineering, IT, Orchestration tools design and development 6+ years of hands-on experience in Patching, and Orchestration 8+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise software company with demonstrated ability to effectively hands on design and code IT automation software. This experience should have a combination of large enterprises and SaaS start-upsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Expert level development and coding skills in Terraform, Python, Java Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high growth organization Deep experience in systems patching, associated orchestration, and automated validation testing Deep knowledge of cloud automation practices (in one or more in the following modular areas - Auto-scale infrastructure provisioning, automated infrastructure testing, automated monitoring) Experience in hybrid infrastructure, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies and associated automation Experience in Software design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed architectures) Experience with containers related technologies and CI/CD tools Experience in infrastructure automation tools – Terraform, Python, JavaWe have other current jobs related to this field that you can find below
