About the team:IT Security Analyst will be member of FIS Security Governance Team. Security Analyst needs to be proficient in network security concepts and vulnerability concepts. This is a fast-paced position requiring strong technical skills as well as strong judgement and decision making abilities.
What you will be doing:Review firewall rule change requests based on network security policies and standards prior to routing for implementationReview and approve change requests and escalate to senior team members when requiredAssess risk with change requests based on the security policies and standardsWork on vulnerability risk acceptance approvals and escalate to senior team members when requiredEnsure all vulnerability/exemptions are documented per FIS standard documentation into the tracking systemManage and maintain Snow ticket queue om daily basisAdherence to documented Change management / security policies and procedures
What you bring:2+years of experience of working on network security / information security / Cyber SecurityKnowledge of Firewalls, Encryption and Security ToolsStrong understanding of TCP/IP conceptsAbility to interpret vulnerability AssessmentsCapability to work on projectsStrong Networking domain knowledgeStrong judgement and decision making abilitiesBroad knowledge of security best practices, security solutions
