We are seeking a meticulousand skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in SQL databasesstored procedures and Talend pipeline analysis to support our teamof dedicated Azure DataEngineers
ROLERESPONSIBILITIES
TheData Analyst will be integral in supporting the development anddeployment of our modern data warehouse in Azure SQL using AzureDataFactory:
  • Analysisand Reverse Engineering: Analyze existing databases specificallylegacy SQL Server stored procedures and Talend Pipelines to extractunderstand and document business logic that will be adapted for thenew datawarehouse.

  • DataMapping and Documentation: Produce comprehensive data maps offeringclarity and direction to the data engineering team. Create andmaintain detailed technical specifications related to data flowtransformations andvalidations.

  • TechnicalSpecifications: Translate business logic and requirements fromlegacy systems into technical specifications for the Azure DataEngineers to implement in the newsystem.

  • Testingand Validation: Assist the data engineering team in testing datapipelines. Validate the correctness and integrity of datatransformations ensuring data accuracy andconsistency.

  • Collaborationand Support: Work closely with the Azure Data Engineer teamoffering insights from analyzed data suggesting improvements andensuring the new data warehouse aligns with extracted businesslogic.

REQUIREDEXPERIENCE
  • *MUSTHAVE* at least 01 years of experience as a technical data analystworking in a data warehouseenvironment

  • Familiaritywith SQL Server and AzureSQL

  • Demonstratedexperience examining and understanding ETL solutions including SQLServer Stored Procedures ADF Pipelines and TalendPipelines.

  • Experiencein producing data maps and creating technicaldocumentation.

  • Proventrack record in testing and validating datasolutions.

  • Experiencedelivering data solutions in an agile environment using eitherScrum orKanban.

SKILLS& TECHNICALREQUIREMENTS
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with an ability to understanddecipher and translate complex dataprocesses.

  • Proficiencyin SQL and scripting for data querying andanalysis.

  • Familiaritywith data integration patterns ETL/ELT processes and general datawarehousingconcepts.

  • Abasic understanding of Azure Data Factory and itscomponents

  • Abasic understanding of Talend and itscomponents

  • Familiaritywith Cloud Analytics & Reporting using PowerBI is aplus

  • Knowledgeof Cloud Analytics & Reporting tools such as PowerBI is aplus.

  • Experienceworking in an agile environment utilizing tools such as Jira orAzureBoards.

  • Familiaritywith DevOps principles and techniques including CI/CD and Agile(Kanban/Scrum) Delivery of Data Solutions using AzureDevOps.

  • Familiaritywith the SDLC and IT Operations ensuring smooth transitions anddeployments.
