Role Summary

The Manager - Projects oversees project planning, execution, and completion within the production environment. This role coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. The Manager - Projects manages resources, timelines, and communication while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. By leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency and drive product innovation, the Manager - Projects supports the organization's strategic growth and competitiveness. The role requires minimal travel for business purposes.

Job Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Set project milestones, establish deadlines, and track progress to ensure timely project completion.
• Anticipate potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust schedules as necessary to stay on track.
• Communicate the progress to stakeholders in regular intervals.
• Resource Management:
• Effectively allocate project resources, managing personnel, materials, and budget to meet project requirements and timelines.
• Monitor resource utilization and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment, preventing bottlenecks and delays.
• Budget Management
• Develop and track project budgets to ensure adherence to financial limits, identifying cost-saving opportunities without impacting quality or timelines.
• Provide regular budget updates, including variance analysis and cost forecasts, to stakeholders and management for informed decision-making.
• Effective coordination with CAPEX vendor.
• Execution and Monitoring:
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet goals.
• Coordinate with Cross-functional team.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and address any issues promptly.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implement best practices for project management and quality assurance.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and change orders.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Project Management / Engineering.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
