Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai, Hiranandani office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Designation: Senior Manager – IT Internal Audit

We will count on you to:

- Perform IT Audit engagements to a high standard in accordance with IA methodology and Marsh McLennan IT standards- Conduct Walkthroughs that allow IA to comprehend the IT processes in place and assess the design of controls- Prepare detailed testing papers which identify control weaknesses and assess their impact- Communicate identified weaknesses to management and to the business, gathering further understanding of the full risk profile and identifying mitigating controls/processes where possible- Assisting IA management with planning and delivery of audits in accordance with the set annual audit plan- Create Audit Reports that enlighten and inform readers on the current risk and controls landscape in the audited area. Such a report requires concise, professional writing that details issues found, associated risks, and managements corrective actions- Identify strategic opportunities for improvement that will help the businesses improve their system security, processes, and internal controls, whilst also minimising risk- Build harmonious relationships with business and technology stakeholders throughout the audit process- Continuously learn from the IA team and structured training to further your understanding of business operations, IT risks and new technologies/topics- Impart your knowledge of IT risk to junior members of the team and give informed opinions to the IA team on key risk areas

What can you expect?

- The Internal Audit (IA) team sits at the Marsh McLennan group level, enabling IA to conduct audits and advisory work across any of the four individual businesses whilst also allowing IA to undertake detailed reviews of specific risks that affect the group.- IA provides an objective assurance of the Risk landscape to Marsh McLennan business, audit committees, executive committees, and the C-Suite. IA is headed by the Head of Internal Audit who reports directly to the group CFO.- IA operates out of hubs in the Americas, EU, and APAC regions, bringing together diverse cultures into one inclusive global team. IA is comprised of operations and IT specific auditors, with audits regularly bringing operations and IT together so that the team can perform an integrated audit of key business areas/processes- Marsh McLennan’s IA function also has a historic reputation for exporting talent into the wider Marsh McLennan Group. What you need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Information Technology, Business Management, Finance, or a related field)- Minimum of 8 years in an IT Auditor or IT Risk Management role is required- Previous experience working within large, complex IT and business environments is preferred- Understanding of IT risk management concepts, including, but not limited, to Application Security, Change Management, IT continuity, IT Governance, Interfaces, and Third-Party Management- An analytical mind, capable of learning unfamiliar topics.- Excellent organisation and project management skills- A strong understanding of how technology supports business operations, enabling you to propose feasible and effective solutions- Clear articulation and communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal
