Responsibilities
  • Responsiblefor setting up a scalable DataWarehouse and building data pipelinemechanisms to integrate the data from various sources for all ofKlub s data.
  • Setup data as a service to exposethe needed data as part of Apis.
  • Have a goodunderstanding on how the finance dataworks.
  • Standardise and optimise design thinkingacross the technology team.
  • Collaborate withstakeholders across engineering teams to come up with short andlongterm architecture decisions.
  • Build robustdata models that will help to support various reportingrequirements for the business ops and the leadership team.
  • Participate in peer reviews providecode/design comments.
  • Own the problem anddeliver tosuccess.

Requirements
  • Priorexperience on Backend and Data Engineering systems.
  • Should have at least 2.5 years of workingexperience in distributed systems or 2.5 years of experience inData Engineering.
  • Deep understanding onpython tech stack with the librarieslike Flask scipy numpy pytest frameworks.
  • Goodunderstanding of Apache Airflow orsimilar orchestration tools.
  • Good knowledge ondata warehouse technologies like Apache Hive or similar.
  • Good knowledge onApache PySpark or similar.
  • Good knowledge on how to build analyticsservices on the data for different reporting and BI needs.
  • Good knowledge on data pipeline/ETL tools.
  • Good knowledge on Trino /graphQL or similar query engine technologies.
  • Deep understanding of concepts onDimensional Data Models .
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MySQL/ PostgreSQL) NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB)databases & caching(redis orsimilar).
  • Should be proficient in writing sqlqueries.
  • Good knowledge onkafka .
  • Be able towrite clean maintainablecode.

Niceto have
  • Built a DataWarehouse from the scratch and set up a scalable datainfrastructure.
  • Prior experience in fintechwould be a plus.
  • Prior experience on datamodelling.
  • Prior experience working with opensource data engineeringtools.
