Global Director Ethics and Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
for
John Deere & Company World Headquarters,
located in
Moline, IL
, is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the global strategy for managing ethics and compliance third-party risks. This role ensures that third-party engagements, including dealers, suppliers, vendors, customers, and technology partners, adhere to regulatory requirements, the Code of Business Conduct, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will bring deep global compliance expertise in identifying and mitigating ethics and compliance risks in support of business objectives. The director will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to embed compliance risk management into business operations. Additionally, you will:
- Develop and implement a global third-party risk management program designed to mitigate ethics and compliance risks.
- Works collaboratively in due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of third-parties.
- Collaborate with legal, supply chain, IT, and business partners to assess and mitigate compliance risks.
- Establish compliance risk assessment methodologies and tools to support monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners in third-party risk compliance audits and ensure timely remediation of identified issues.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting third-party relationships and work collaboratively in updating policies accordingly.
- Promote a culture of compliance risk awareness through training and communication programs.
- Report on third-party compliance risk metrics and trends to key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in TPRM processes through automation, analytics, and stakeholder feedback.

What Skills You Need
- 10 or more years of experience in managing, developing, and improving global third-party compliance risk management.
- Strong understanding and application of current Know Your Customer (KYC) methodologies.
- Developed / implemented compliance focused TPRM programs for organization with U.S. domestic and global business relationships.
- Experience with compliance risk assessment tools and compliance monitoring technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage global projects and work across diverse cultural and regulatory compliance environments.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Successful demonstration of your ability to be a team player, leader, and motivator.
- Ability to proactively issue spot third-party compliance risks in developing risk mitigation planning and execution.

Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Ethics & Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, Business, Law or a related field.
