Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience at ScaleOrange Technologies Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics on a day-to-day basis.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL processes, combined with a passion for data analytics.


Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.


- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.


- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.


- Create and maintain data models that effectively represent business requirements.


- Develop dimensional and data mart models. Ensure data consistency and integrity.


- Implement and manage data warehouses and data marts.


- Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability.


- Implement data governance and security measures.


- Support data analytics initiatives by providing clean, reliable, and accessible data.


- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand their data needs.


- Provide technical guidance and support for data analysis projects.


- Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).


- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Kimball methodology, dimensional modeling).


- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services).


Qualifications :


- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering.


- Strong foundation in data modeling and ETL processes.


- Experience with data warehousing and data mart implementation.


- Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.


- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


- Strong communication and collaboration skills.


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
