Embracing these dynamic changes the brand delivered to the high streets of India, a modern product and brand that appealed to this new youth movement.
Today, 30 years later brand Turtle continue to deliver the best of global styling and inspirations, whilst staying true to their heritage.
Job Purpose
- To ensure right representation of Menswear strategy across channels – Retail & Digital
- To build the right product offering to suit the customer profile and maximize full price sell through.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Buying, range selection, Assortment / option planning, range development
- Forecast trends and share inputs with design team for range creation
- Weekly analysis and review of sell thru reports to assess merchandise performance (mid-season sales analysis / sell thru analysis (EBO+LFS Channel). Highlight season performance, best sellers and take requisite corrective action on bottom sellers to achieve the desired sell thru and margin target for the season.
- Placing orders for seasonal requirement to meet critical path for launch and deliver on sales plan, respond to in season variables to address any immediate gap
- Analyzing historical performance to be able to support buying decisions
- Preparing season learning to the stakeholders
- Sharing product inputs for in season/end of season for markdown planning
- Maintaining awareness of competition’s product offering
- Standardization of internal reports including catalogue, seasonal presentations, Order sheets
- Achieving targeted full price sell through in sync with commercial targets for the season.
- Achieving target OTB/Budget fulfilment for the season.
- Core ordering tracker
- Omni channel product update (O2O)

- Head of Buying & Merchandising (Reporting Manager)
- Sourcing Team
- Retail & Visual Merchandising Team (VM)
- Marketing & E-Commerce Teams
Desired Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate in Fashion Management/Retail from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is mandatory.
- Experience of 4-6 years in product Buying from Menswear only.
- Buying experience with International Brands / Retailers is highly desirable.
- Proficient in MS-Office (Excel, PPT).
- Thorough understanding of buying, products and Menswear trends in the market
