We are searching for a Senior Accessory Designer for bags to lead our design efforts, bringing fresh perspectives and exceptional skills to our bag collections.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Create detailed sketches and digital illustrations, collaborating with the production team to bring prototypes to life.
Conduct trend research to stay ahead of market demands and inform design decisions.
Create detailed tech packs for manufacturing.
Develop and manage product costing to ensure profitability.
Provide practical instructions to master tailors for product creation.
Source materials and manage relationships with vendors.
Oversee vendor management to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Create mood boards and color boards to guide design concepts and themes.
Identify potential quality, production, and design issues, making recommendations for improvements.
Qualification:
Experience :
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in product design, preferably in the Bag industry
Proven experience leading a design team and managing design projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Accessory Design or a related field.
Skills :
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Excel, Powerpoint and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
Excellent eye for detail, aesthetics, and functionality.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow a Time and Action plan to ensure project timelines are met.
