What You'll Do Assist Planview customers in a billable capacity with the definition of dashboard, reporting, and modelling requirements Work with Planview customer business users in a billable capacity to design, develop implement and maintain dashboards, reports, and models Assist Planview customers with the transition of legacy dashboards and reports to new analytics technology Build and maintain proficient knowledge of Planview data models Prepare all designs and code for various reporting objects and ensure compliance with all best business practices Troubleshoot critical report / dashboard and performance issues Work with technical team peers, cross-functional colleagues and customer resources including DBAs, report authors, and system administrators Provide technical support to Power BI and/or SSRS/Report Builder users Provide end-user training to Planview customers on Microsoft Power BI, Planview data models, SSRS/Report Builder, and/or Tabular Models, and development best practices Assist customers with upgrading to latest versions of analytics tools Assist customers in publishing/deploying analytics objects across non-production and production environments Create dashboards and reports using data modules and data sets Stay proficient and maintain latest technology knowledge related to a variety of analytics tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Power BI, SSRS/Report Builder, and Tabular Models Improve and eliminate bottlenecks in the internal Planview analytics processes Enforce processes and create new processes to enhance productivity of team members Take ownership and accountability for deliverables and communicate proactively What You'll Bring SKILLS: Proficient in creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, and/or SSRS/Report Builder Proficiency in creating reports using SQL Knowledge of design principles of relational and dimensional data models Excellent organizational skills to efficiently prioritize, execute, and document work for multiple projects Fundamental knowledge of Systems Delivery Life Cycle and Software Development Lifecycle Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Familiarity with Requirements Management tools and business process mapping tools Strong analytical and business analysis skills to elicit business requirements and document business process maps Strong listening, communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills Fundamental understanding of Enterprise Applications and integrations with enterprise applications Self-motivated team player with strong work ethics Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills with ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of customers’ and internal organization Ability to challenge the status quo, conceive, get buy-in, and implement innovative ideas that can benefit the company and customers Fast learner and able work ethically, effectively, and professionally under pressure QUALIFICATIONS: 7+ years of working experience with some or all of the following analytics tools: Microsoft Power BI SSRS/Report Builder Experience with publishing/deploying analytics objects across non-production and production environments required Experience creating, enhancing, and maintaining models and/or data modules to support business requirements required Experience in design principles of models and/or data modules, design principles of relational and dimensional data models and developing and publishing packages required Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience Strong experience in customer interaction and understanding of ERP applications, business data flow and data relationships Familiar with the Planview applications and experience in creating reports using the Planview data model preferred Benefits at Planview At Planview, you’ll join our global team and culture which reflects the vibrant communities in which our employees live and work.
