Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Executive – Accounts to join our finance team. The role is ideal for a candidate with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience using Tally ERP. You will be responsible for supporting daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, managing payables and receivables, assisting in tax compliance, and generating key financial reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting role (an asset).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (including P&L statements, MIS reports, inventory management).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process and record vendor invoices in Tally and ensure timely payments.
  • Generate and send sales invoices; follow up on receivables and reconcile balances.
  • Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers periodically for accuracy.

2. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Record daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Assist in the preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide support for financial decision-making.

3. Inventory & Procurement Accounting

  • Record material inward and outward entries using Tally.
  • Generate purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through proper ledger maintenance and reconciliation.

4. Sales & Customer Coordination

  • Generate Proforma Invoices and quotations for customers using Tally.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and respond to customer queries related to invoicing and payments.
  • Assist with customer inquiries related to invoicing and payments.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Assist with GST, TDS, and income tax filing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare necessary records for tax audits and refunds.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.

6. Month-End & Year-End Support

  • Assist with closing entries and month-end reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Support the finance team with internal audits and financial finalization processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10, ₹35,000.00 per month
