Position : Mainframe Developer

Experience : 4 to 7 Years

Location : Flexible to work in hybrid mode (Pune ,Noida or Hyderabad locations-we follow 9-10 days/month from office.)

Mandatory Skill : COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2

Notice : Immediate to 15 days

Required Skills and Experience :


- 4 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe development.

- Flexible to work in hybrid mode (on the designated days from Noida, Pune or Hyderabad locations)

- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.


- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of IMS and CICS is a bonus.

Preferred Skills :


- Experience with document composition tools such as OpenText Exstream or Quadient Inspire (previously GMC).

- Familiarity with software development best practices.

- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Mainframe Developer Duties & Responsibilities :

- Must have analytical and coding skills from working on IM

- Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement and stabilize phases of the project

- Performs database/ disaster recovery planning for multiple systems

- Assists with vendor negotiations

- Facilitates complex group meetings (including business partners) for technical design, decision making, problem solving, implementation and strategic planning

Mainframe Developer Qualifications :

- Licensing or Certifications for Mainframe Developer

- List any licenses or certifications required by the position : SAS, ITIL, CECRL, B2, LOMA280/290, SANS, CISSP
