Job Summary:

The Business Analyst, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, will work remotely on a contract basis to support and enhance business processes, systems, and strategies. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, helping to drive informed decision-making and improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decisions.
  • Process Mapping: Create process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize and document current and future business processes.
  • Business Solution Design: Develop and propose effective solutions and strategies to address business challenges and meet objectives.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed business requirement documents, use cases, and user stories to communicate requirements to development and project teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and perform as intended.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and issues related to projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning and monitoring to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize business processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and time management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
