Purpose of the role:The Product and Applications Sales Specialist (PASS) for X-Ray Microscope (XRM) is a highly skilled and technical sales position which relies heavily on technical competence, consultative selling skills and the use of the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP) to meet customer requirements and individual targets.Responsibilities:The Product and Applications Sales Specialist (PASS) for X-Ray Microscope (XRM) requires strong customer support, for both product and applications, for ZEISS X-Ray Microscopy portfolio. He/she is expected to demonstrate technical & operational knowledge of the ZEISS systems, components & software’s (inclusive of system operation); related imaging workflow; as well as relevant sample preparation protocols for post sales application training. The role is also expected to stay up-to-date with latest technology, research & market trends, and takea lead ‘technical’ role in the introduction of new product / solution into the Indian markets.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Developing and delivering technical presentations tailored to both internal and external audiences.Structured problem solving in collaboration with customers and sales/service teamIncrease WIN probability of active opportunitiesFunnel DevelopmentPost-sales activitiesIdentify new markets and opportunities for business development with sales & marketing teams.Requirements:Masters in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or MTech in Materials science, nanotechnology or related fieldsExperience working with non destructive testing (NDT) is preferred
